Bogus   Beyond   Belief

Responses

Please note that the formatting on the various response pages differs from the earliest pages to the newest pages. Within this vast collection of e-mails there are of course spelling errors and grammatical errors. In rare cases, confusing grammatical errors were corrected and then enclosed in parenthesis (which at some point should be changed to brackets).

Responses, page 1 e-mails to this site along with my responses to them.

Responses, page 2a (153 KB) features two extended conversations with believers. Evolution is discussed.

Responses, page 2b contains an interesting conversation with a creationist.

Responses, page 2c the conversation with the creationist is continued and concludes, finally, with a large list of biblical errors, contradictions, cruelties and murder. I got tired of repeatedly telling this guy he was wrong about evolution and finally asked him to explain numerous Bible problems. (216 KB)

Responses, page 3 various Catholic "miracles" are presented as proof of Catholicism.

Responses, page 4 I am asked to fear death and to have faith in Jesus, but no evidence is presented for Bible claims.

Responses, page 5 a gentleman tells me that the Bible does not support slavery, I show him that it does, and he then asks me how I can truly say that slavery is wrong. After all, everyone knows that non-Christians have no morals!

Responses, page 6 various people dispute my arguments.

Responses, page 7 included on this page are a few e-mails from people who wanted me to change or remove my web site. This page also contains an extended e-mail conversation with a gentleman about "moral absolutes" and scholastic complexity. Don't ask me what those things mean because, despite numerous requests, Mr. Ambiguity never defined them for me.

Responses, page 7.5 An interesting discussion of morality with a guy who attempted to compare me and all atheists with Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, etc. I created a discussion board for this person, but he has not posted there.

Responses, page 8 a visitor said he would "dismember" my arguments, apparently unaware that he has the burden of proof. He tried defending biblical slavery and also attempted to define "God." It got tiresome plowing through all of the convoluted gibberish he came up with and adding it to the page every week, so I created a discussion forum for him here.

Responses, page 9

Responses, page 10 this is currenly a zip file. Subjects include the Why the Christian God is Impossible article, the free will versus omniscience dilemma, and that old Christian favorite: eternal torture in hell.

Responses, page 11 a discussion of God's threat to smear excrement on people's faces, and an e-mail from a young Christian.
