William Lane Craig is considered by many to be the best Christian apologist around. He has numerous academic degrees, and spends all of his time delivering speeches and debating on the existence of God-this appears to be his full-time job. He uses complex, technical-sounding arguments peppered with obscure philosophical terminology, and is a very polished speaker. My take on this guy? He is an example of style over substance, and is a hypocrite. For example, he throws around a bunch of ten-dollar words railing against a non-Christian morality, but never explains how worshipping a primitive war-god which promotes slavery, which butchers infants and children, which continually orders the slaughter of infants, children, women and the elderly, and which tortures billions of people for eternity for their opinions-he never explains how this can function as a superior basis for morality.While I am on the subject of William Lane Craig, I would be remiss if I did not quote him directly:"Should a conflict arise between the witness of the Holy Spirit to the fundamental truth of the Christian faith and beliefs based on argument and evidence, then it is the former which must take precedence over the latter, not vice versa."
